Photoshop, though often characterised as a confusing, confidence sapping, overwhelmingly complex and fearful experience, in the right-hands is also capable of realising truly stunning images capable of inflicting the deepest feelings, revelations and associations.  This intermediate-advanced workshop showcases sophisticated Photoshop techniques, production strategies and visual problem solving.  It is designed for professional photographers, artists and advanced enthusiasts who want to extend their appreciation, understanding, and imaginative application of Photoshop to profoundly enhance their pictures.  The aim is to inspire and facilitate creative, innovative, and productive image editing solutions.  Topics covered include:

Though not essential, participants are encouraged to bring along a laptop computer with Photoshop, or at least several of their images to be worked on.  While the course focuses on the production advantages of the most recent version of Photoshop, the knowledge, techniques and distinctions can also be successfully applied to earlier versions.  The workshop is presented through a series of exercises, case studies, practical solutions, and analytical examinations of Photoshop techniques and processes.  Therefore a basic working knowledge of Photoshop is assumed. Detailed course notes, video tutorials, and Photoshop Actions are provided.
