MAMA Landscape Photography Field Trip – July 2017

In this full day field workshop, tutor Dirk Wallace will coach students in some of the more challenging aspects of landscape photography: low lighting, glare, water movement, and wide angle perspective.

Beginning in Myrtleford, the class will travel to various locations in and around the Mt Buffalo ranges, with the opportunity to capture panoramic mountain views, waterfall flows, various water surfaces including rivers and pools, and possibly snow (condition dependent).

Using long exposure photography techniques, learn to capture the flow of water over a waterfall or around river stones. Learn to manipulate the camera settings to best capture the subtleties of sunset. Reduce glare and reflection on water, ice and snow surface.
